Biography
Leah Grossmith joined the Lifemoves® Team in June 2010 from Ontario. She has a prevailing passion for sports and enjoys being physically active. She would like to focus her spirit towards getting others moving through active rehabilitation. She loves helping others, and knowing that what she is doing for her clients enables them to live a more functional and better quality of life.
She graduated in 2010 with a degree in kinesiology and physical education from Wilfrid Laurier University. Leah is stepping into the work force to devote her knowledge and assist others with their exercise needs to help them reach their goals. She is passionate about continuing her education and looks forward to continuing by completing a Master degree.
In April 2011, Leah completed the Level I Fascial Stretch Therapy course held in Richmond and conducted by Stretch to Win.
Philosophy
“Those who are most successful replace “I should” with “I can”. Motivation to be physically active must come from with-in. Exercise can be more enjoyable with a little bit of will-power.”
Personal Mission Statement
To get people moving through active rehabilitation, this enables them to live healthier and more energetic lives. To use my knowledge to develop an exercise regimes that best suits my clients wants and needs. Exercise should be fun and enjoyable.
