Biography
Alfred founded Lifemoves® Health and Rehabilitation in 2007. He worked for Fitness World in various capacities becoming one of their top Personal Trainers before realizing his eight year dream. He enjoys the challenges of growing a business, maintaining his health and engaging with his clients during clinical hours.
Alfred and Lifemoves® have been recognized by the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. Alfred is a finalist for their Business Excellence Awards in the Young Entrepreneur category.
In nearly 10 years of Kinesiology practice Alfred has helped over 700 clients improve their quality of life, health and independence with the appropriate physical activity and lifestyle choices.
As a human movement specialist, Alfred's strengths are working with clients with chronic health conditions and musculoskeletal injuries.
He searches for the most current research and best practice methods related to health, rehabilitation, lifestyle and fitness by attending over 20 hours of continuing education per year. He is one of the first four Practicing Kinesiologists in British Columbia to be certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy™ and one of a few Kinesiologists to complete the Diploma in Rehabilitation Management from Simon Fraser University in 2008.
Most recently Alfred, completed two courses on using Trigger Point Technique to Overcome Soft-Tissue Pain. He will be heading to Arizona at the end of October to complete the Level II Fascial Stretch Therapy at Stretch To Win.
Alfred has given back to his profession by being on the Board of Directors for the B.C. Association of Kinesiologists 2006 - 2008. He continues to mentor other Kinesiologists and Personal Trainers and speak at conferences, wellness shows and workshops such as Can-Fit Pro Whilster 2009. He also enjoys writing for the three blogs he created for Lifemoves.

Athletic Pursuits
Alfred was a member of the BC Biathlon Team from 1994 – 1999. He still enjoys cross-country skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and running. He unwinds and releases stress by being physical active, using far infrared sauna and participating in Yoga.
Alfred's most recent athlete pursuit was to achieve a sub 40min Grouse Grind on his 33rd Birthday, which he did in 39:56min. He also competed in the BMO Grouse Mountain Run, placing 22nd of 76 in his age group with a time of 40:40min. He continues to train as his goal is to catch the elite Grouse Grinders.
